Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby’s 1962 cover art for Amazing Fantasy #15 provides

the background for Alan Quah and Mufizal Mokhtar’s thrilling interpretation,

bringing the classic bang up to date for a new generation of fans.

Spider-Man, tethered by a skein of webbing, leaps out in an action-packed

sculpture, the bonded porcelain figure of a terrified mobster firmly in the pewter

webslinger’s grasp.

In 2011, Amazing Fantasy #15, significant for introducing Spider-Man and his

origin story, becomes the second comic book to cross the US$1 million

threshold at auction.

Malaysians Quah and Mufizal, both highly respected by the international comics

and collectibles communities, collaborated on this limited edition.
